Viewing two excel spreadsheets side by side

Open both the files you want to view. Click the “View” tab on the top menu row, then select “View Side by Side”

Both excel spreadsheets will then open simultaneously, one on top of the other. The scrolling function will automatically be synchronised but can be disabled by deselecting the “Synchronous Scrolling” button.

When you want to return to a single spreadsheet view click on the “View Side by Side” button. If the screen do not collapse and return to a single spreadsheet after clicking the “View Side by Side” button again simply click the collapse button found in the top right hand corner of your document.
