Access Database Developers Tips - Quick Reports From Table Using Queries

Sometimes you want to check the data in a table to see what data has been stored.

Simply Click on “Query Design” on the “Create” tab.

This will bring up a query window and a list of tables and queries you have in your database

Select the table you want to investigate, and press “Add”.

Drag the fields you want to investigate into the area below.

Pressing the “run” icon will give you a simple report

(you must be on the “Design” tab to see this option).

Pressing “View” takes you back to the design screen (you must be on the “home” tab to see this).

If you want to use a further range of functionality, the select the “Totals” button.

This creates a new option for you to use.

Simply select what you want to do from this and press the run button again to see the result.
